Tasting notes
After a long period of aging in typical small barrels (‘caratelli’), we obtain this passito wine with an amber colour, harmonious and velvety with intense notes of honey and dried fruit.
Curiosity
This wine, typically produced in Tuscany, reminds the flavor of the tradition and of a peasant authenticity. We make it following the same instructions and the same secrets that our grandparents taught us, letting the grapes naturally wither and fermenting the must in historic small wooden barrels (the caratelli).
