Tasting notes
Our Chianti Reserve is obtained from selected grapes by hand only in the best years, following the ancient one traditional recipe. Ruby red in color, on the nose it has balsamic and black cherry notes, and light spicy ones. In the mouth it is fresh, balanced, with a very elegant tannin.
Curiosity
Our Chianti Riserva is produced only in the best vintages, respecting like for the traditional Chianti the original recipe written by Barone Ricasoli. Only when we believe that the harvest has been truly excellent, we decide to produce the Riserva version instead of the traditional one, to offer you a special product to taste on your important occasions. The label shows the parish church of San Pietro in Bossolo, very important for our family: until the 1980s it was the only meeting point for the town, where people met and shared sensations and advice on working in the fields.
